Art Educator - Maker - Creative Problem Solver

I have been working with children for 20+ years.

In 2009 I earned a Master's Degree from Columbia University Teacher's College in Art Education and have since taught in several schools in Brooklyn, most recently in the Wood shop at Brooklyn Friends School.

I also enjoy making all kinds of art with my own children, ranging from the more crafty (fabric dyeing with avocados and weaving with old shirts) to the more traditional (drawing, printmaking, and large scale collaborative paintings).

My teaching style is always a process-based approach to an art curriculum, with a focus on the making over the final product.
